Petone Library and Petone Settlers Museum Open Day

Join us at Petone Community Library for a hands-on display of historical items from the collections of the Library and the Petone Settlers Museum. You’ll get to handle a range of items about the history of Lower Hutt, including postcards, photographs, posters, maps and objects.

No need to book, just wander in between 10am and 3pm on Saturday 2 November. The Hutt City Council’s Archive was also be represented.


No booking is required.

Hutt City Libraries and the Petone Settlers Museum collect items about the history of Lower Hutt. Both agencies store their collections at the Petone Community Library in Britannia Street. The Library’s Heritage Centre is also located here.
