WCC Archives Tours and Talks

Did you want to know more about the Wellington City Council Archives? Come along to a behind the scenes tour, followed up by a Q & A opportunity.

There will be 4 tours throughout the day and a recurring talk that will tell you a bit about the collection and the new Archives online search.

Tours (up to 10 people) leave at 10:00am (SOLD OUT), 11:00am (SOLD OUT), 1:00pm (SOLD OUT), & 2:00pm. Talks will be at 10:30, 11:30, and 1:30

NB: If you have a large group that would like to attend a tour, you may need to make alternate arrangements with the Archives to attend on another day.

Wellington City Archives is a primary information resource for the history of Wellington. The archives of Wellington City Council and its predecessors in local government represent the bulk of the holdings. Wellington City Archives also collects the records of notable individuals and organisations who have made a significant contribution to the life and development of Wellington.
